Led by Design Partner, Ted Givens and his team, the concept for this 117,600sqm mall is to pull a courtyard garden off the edge of the lake and wrap the retail program around the resultant garden space. The outer edge of the wall facing the main streets is more solid to shield the spaces from car noise and exhaust, whilst the inner edge of the mall becomes a blur line between the cultivated space and the natural world.

Chief Operating Officer, Miriam Auyeung commented that 10 Design has helped to shape the new Jinwan Aviation City by leading the design and delivery of the wider development including not only the Jinwan Mall but also the recently built Industrial Service Centre and the upcoming International Business Centre. The Jinwan Civic Arts Centre by Zaha Hadid Architects will sit right in the middle of these landmark buildings.
