10 Design has won an international competition to design two plots as part of Hongkong Land’s 23-hectare mixed-use development on the West Bund of Shanghai. Located alongside the prominent Huangpu River in the east of Xuhui District, the 1.1 million sqm West Bund will create a world-class waterfront district in the heart of Shanghai. 

To maximise this distinctive location, the two plots by 10 Design are organised by a retail street running parallel to the riverbank which acts as the main pedestrian artery linking all the functions of the scheme together. This includes a series of retail components, an office campus, as well as cultural and sports facilities.
