Jinwan Huafa IBC shortlisted at World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards 2023
News just in! We’re excited to share that the Jinwan Huafa International Business Centre (IBC) has been named as a finalist in this year’s World Architecture Festival WAF Awards, in the ‘Completed Buildings – Mixed-Use’ category!
Located on a prime waterfront site in the coastal city of Zhuhai, China, the 172,033 square-meter, mixed-use complex is comprised of a hotel, office space, serviced apartments, and retail. Part of the 3.8 square-kilometer masterplan for the new Jinwan Aviation City, the design references the aerodynamic forms of flight with the elegant twin towers resembling a pair of aircraft wings. The towers stand in strong dialogue with each other, creating a dynamic gateway, while framing views and inviting wind to flow through the centre of the site. The signature development will serve as a catalyst of growth, as well as a new focal point for the district.
Our design team will be presenting to the judges live at the World Architecture Festival in November.
See you in Singapore!
