10 Design joins hand with Hongkong Land to create world-class commercial landmark in Shanghai’s West Bund
We’re excited to mark the recent launch of Hongkong Land’s West Bund Financial Hub in Shanghai, China!
Boasting a premium waterfront site along the Huangpu River, the 1.8 million square-meters West Bund Financial Hub will house 650,000 square meters of Grade A office space, 240,000 square meters of luxury retail space, 160,000 square meters of high-end waterfront residential apartments, a hotel, convention centre, and cultural facilities. As the largest, single-project investment by Hongkong Land, the development will lead the ‘new urban evolution model’ of the Group which brings together people-first and inspiring designs, and contemporary lifestyles underpinned by sustainability and nature-based features.
In 2020, 10 Design (part of Egis Group) won the international competition for the West Bund Financial Hub and has since been appointed as lead design architect for the luxury lifestyle portion of Plots E and F, which comprises a series of luxury retail spaces, an office campus, and cultural and civic facilities. We’re proud to be part of this ambitious project, collaborating with Hongkong Land and a team of industry leaders, to create a world-class commercial landmark and human-centric urban lifestyle destination.
Construction has begun and will be launched in phases, starting at the end of 2023. Stay tuned for more details!
