10 DESIGN invited to collaborate at 2014 ULI Asia Pacific Summit: “Hospitality Development Council Workshop: Principles of Sustainable Hotel Development”
At the summit, Sean Quinn, Head of Sustainable Design with 10 DESIGN, presented the mission statement to 60 leaders and innovators from the hospitality sector on the group theme ‘Sustainable Innovation & Design’ on how to integrate Sustainable Innovation & Design for Hotel and Resort Projects:
“Sustainability should be embedded in the DNA of project through central vision, engagement, and the application of viable and replicable environmental strategies. Such Inclusive design should create an experience that embraces the values and indigenous resources of a community while challenging standard paradigms.”
Results of the workshop and ongoing involvement will contribute to a white paper on Sustainable Guidelines for Hotel and Resort Development, which will be published early 2015.
