What inspired you to pursue a career in architecture? 

促使您投身建筑行业的契机是什么？

The idea of shaping an entire space from nothing was intriguing. With a technical background and strong interest in design, this was a natural choice. Over the years, discovering the complexities of putting a building together and being part of the multi-disciplinary, collaborative process has been fascinating.

建筑师能够从无到有塑造整个空间，这一点令我深深着迷。我的技术背景和对设计的浓厚兴趣促使我自然而然地选择了建筑行业。多年来，我不断探索建筑构筑的复杂性，并持续参与跨学科协作的工作过程，这一切都让我乐在其中。

How do you see the role of women in architecture evolving? 

您如何看待女性在建筑领域的角色演变？

Women can bring a unique perspective to design as well as to the way we run and manage the process. There is an upward trend in women making it to leadership positions within firms as well as those running their own practices. This is encouraging younger women to push the boundaries and explore their strengths without fear. The more diversity and perspectives we have in our profession, the richer the architectural product will be.

女性可以为设计以及项目的运行管理方式带来独特视角。当下越来越多女性在公司中担任领导职务、或直接经营自己的事务所，这鼓舞着无数年轻女性，激励她们勇敢突破边界，无所畏惧地探索自己的优势。我们的行业越多样，视角越丰富，我们的建筑产品就会越丰富多彩。

Can you share a project or achievement that you are particularly proud of, and why? 

您能分享一个让您特别自豪的项目或成就吗？

Over the past few years, as I reflect on my own journey, I have come to realize that what truly stands out to me isn’t a specific project or achievement, but rather the meaningful relationships I’ve cultivated, particularly with our younger architects. Witnessing and being part of their development, growth, and evolution into confident professionals has been an immensely rewarding experience.

在过去几年间，每当我回顾一路走来的历程时，都会逐渐清晰地意识到，真正让我感到印象深刻的并不是某个具体的项目或成就，而是我在此过程中建立的有意义的关系。尤其是与我们的年轻建筑师们产生的联系。能亲自见证并参与他们的发展和成长，并帮助他们逐渐成为能独当一面的专业人士，是真正令我感到受益匪浅的经历。

How do you see the role of women in architecture evolving? 

您如何看待女性在建筑领域的角色演变？

We are witnessing a transformation where we are closing the gap, challenging long-held stereotypes about how women should appear, behave, and communicate. With the emergence of more role models in architecture – entrepreneurs leading their own firms, spearheading design initiatives, managing projects- we are paving the way for upcoming generations of inspiring women architects to realize their full potential on an open and equal playing field.

What inspired you to pursue a career in architecture? 

促使您投身建筑事业的契机是什么？

Architecture has always been a part of my life since both of my parents are also architects. There has always been an innate desire in me to create and to know more about architecture. As a toddler, I remember we would travel and visit iconic architecture projects and I would love to make these abstract drawings based on the memories I had from these visits.

我的父母都是建筑师，所以建筑一直涵盖了我日常生活中的方方面面。我对建筑的创作和深入了解有一种与生俱来的渴望。当我还是个蹒跚学步的孩子时，我就会和家人一起旅行，去参观标志性的建筑项目。我也非常喜欢根据参观的记忆来绘制抽象的图画。

How do you see the role of women in architecture evolving? 

您如何看待女性在建筑领域的角色演变？

Even though there is still a long way to go, I’m happy to see that the work of great female architects of the last century has gotten more exposure and recognition. It’s encouraging when you get to witness women making a difference in a traditionally male-dominated profession, stepping into leadership positions, and inspiring future generations of architects.

尽管前路漫漫，但我也很高兴地看到，上个世纪伟大女建筑师的作品已经得到了更多的曝光和认可。当我看到女性在这个传统上由男性主导的行业中有所作为、走上领导岗位，并不断激励着行业中的后来者时，我感到非常受鼓舞。
