International Design Competition | Shizimen The Infinity Loop Bridge, Zhuhai, China
10 Design in collaboration with Buro Happold participated in an International Design Competition for the five Zhuhai Shizimen Bridges in China. On 8th February 2012, Huafa Group awarded the first prize to the team for the most important bridge out of the five. This 300 metre long bridge will be the key signature gateway to the new CBD of Shizimen. 10 Design + Buro Happold also came second and third for two other bridges in the competition.
10 Design together with Buro Happold were subsequently awarded the contract to design and deliver the project. The Bridge is anticipated to be constructed by 2014.
